Takht Sachkhand Shri Hazur Abchalnagar, Nanded | Destinations in Maharashtra

Hazoor Sahib also called as Takht Sachkhand Shri Hazur Abchalnagar Sahib and Abchal Nagar is located in the city of Nanded in Maharashtra. The gurdwara was constructed from 1832 to 1837.It is situated near the banks of river Godavari. Guru Gobind Singh ji the 10th guru took his last breath here and the gurudwara is built at the place of his death. There is room built inside the premises of gurudwara over the place where Guru Gobind Singh ji was cremated in 1708 is known as �Angitha Sahib�. Inside the Angitha sahib various weapons are displayed like dagger (kripan), a quiver with thirty-five arrows, two bows, a matchlock gun, a steel bow, a steel arrow, a shield of steel with studded precious gemstones and five gilded swords.
