Sariska Tiger Reserve - Information and address

The Sariska Tiger Reserve is an Indian national park in the Alwar district of Rajasthan. It was declared a wildlife reserve in 1955. The present area of the park is 866 km2.
Sariska Tiger reserve is famous for its Bengal tigers. Apart from the Bengal tiger, there are leopard, jungle cat, caracal, striped hyena, golden Jackal, chital, sambhar, nilgai, chinkara four-horned antelope, wild boar, hare, hanuman langur, rhesus monkeys. Also you can have a glimpse of feathered species like grey partridge, white-throated kingfisher, Indian peafowl, bush quail, sandgrouse, treepie, golden-backed woodpecker, crested serpent eagle and the Indian eagle-owl.

How to reach there –
The park is situated 107 km from Jaipur and 200 km from Delhi.
You can easily reach there by rail, road and air
You can take a flight to delhi or Jaipur and then hire a taxi or a bus.
Best time to visit:
The sanctuary can be visited all the year-around, except during July/August. Best time to visit is between November and June. In summers temperatures are very high but there are more chances of seeing wildlife.
Timings: In winter (October to February) 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Rest of the year - 6.30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Entrance fees - For Indians is Rs. 20 and Rs. 100 for foreigners. You can book online through the official website.
Also Indians may enter free on Tuesdays and Saturdays from 8 a.m.-3 p.m.
