Industrial town of Bhiwadi is a part of Alwar district of Rajasthan and due to its nearness to Delhi this town is considered as National Capital Region (NCR). Its geographical position and growing industries are attracting from all over India.
The mercury soars in May and June when the summer temperature reaches 46 - 48 degrees Celsius and during winters especially in December and January the mercury record a dip up to 2 - 4 degrees Celsius.

Bhiwadi is located on National Highway 8 on the Dharuhera-Sohna Road just 200 km from Jaipur, 90 km from Alwar, 40 km from Gurgaon and 75 Kms. from Delhi. The easy approach of this sub-region makes it favourite of industrialists. Rajasthan's economic growth highly depends on Bhiwadi. All the major business tycoons either have established or in the process of establishing at least one unit here.

Bhiwadi itself does not have any tourist attractions but Vijay Mandir Palace constructed in 1918 by Maharaja Jai Singh and a well-laid garden and rippling lake in front is worth watching. Other major attractions around Bhiwadi are Sita Ram temple, Jaisamand Lake and Siliserh Lake and palace built by Maharaja Vinay Singh.
Indian government is putting efforts to promote the growth of Bhiwadi and in this process has signed a MOU for an investment of about 30,000 crores. The road from Bhiwadi to Alwar is being upgraded to a four lane highway.
