Kullu and Manali are the charming hill stations in Himachal Pradesh. The snow covered peaks of majestic Himalayas on one side and Beas River on the other provides a flattering environment. The green carpeted valley of Kullu-Manali is a land of temples and the mountains inflame thrills in everyone.

Manali

Manali may be called Switzerland of India. The charm and beauty of Manali continues with the royal Himalayas and river Beas flows arrogantly through luxuriant valleys and apple orchards. The well-defined snow capped peaks; the crystal clear water of Beas River, deodar and pine trees, tiny fields and fruit orchards illustrates the wondrous canvas of nature to trekkers and honeymooners as well. The hill station 40 km north of Kullu valley is covered with grassy meadows carpeted with brightly colored wild flowers are site for enjoying the marvelous walks.

The shops are flooded with Tibetian souvenirs, carpets and craft items.

Though Manali is famous as one of the lands of temples yet there are many attractions for tourists. The Dhoongri Temple or Hadimba Temple dedicated to Hadimba, wife of Bhim, Manu Temple dedicated to Manu Rishi, club house on the bank of Manalsu Nallah, Tibetan monasteries, Mountaineering Institute training in trekking, mountaineering, skiing and water sports, Nehru Kund, Solang Valley, Rahala Water falls, Rohtang Pass, Arjun Cave and Jagatsukh etc. are the places to see.

Kullu

The charming and beautiful Kullu valley spreads to 80kms around river Beas. The dreamland has the streams encompassing the glens and mossy meadows and meander east to west welcomes the tourists, trekkers, mountaineers and painters to fly away from the heat & dust of the plains. The fresh air of the Himalayas invigorates the visitor. The scenic mountain is awesome.

Raghunathji is the worshipped with great devotion by all the people of the valley. The Silver Valley celebrates Dussehra in a vibrant manner to show devotion to the reigning deity.

The valley is famous for its exquisite variety of handwoven colourful shawls and kullu caps.

Bijli Mahadev temple shimmers like a silver needle in the sun. Visitors can have panoramic view of Kullu and Parvati valleys from here. Raghunathji temple, Vaishno Devi temple, Apple orchards and trout hatchery at Katrain, Naggar, Kasol, Manikaran, Jamlu temple at Malana, Basheshwar Mahadev temple at Bajaura, Larji and Banjar famed for trout fishing are some of the place that you must see.
