Vaishnodevi Tour

Vaishno Devi Almost a million years old holy shrine of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi is most popular and one of the holiest pilgrimage sites in India. The people all over the world believe that no one returns empty handed once they have come in the shadow of mother goddess. So the popular quote 'Moonh Maangi Muradein Poori Karne Wali Mata' is always been used for her.

Vaishno Devi Ma is believed to righteously grant everything that a person wishes for in life to those who visit Her Holy Shrine with full devotion, faith and pure heart.

It is believed that Mata Vaishno Devi had spent some time to observe spiritual corrections and repentances at the Holy Shrine. The holy cave is treated sanctified because it is said that this is the place where Mata merged her Human form with the astral form of the three Supreme Energies.

The 5200 ft high Holy Cave situated in three peaked mountain Trikoot attracts lakhs of devotees not only from India but also from abroad every year. Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board formed in 1986 is committed for proper management of the pilgrim site and Yatra.

The Yatris have to cover the trek of around 12 km from Katra. The narrow path gradually proceeding to the holy shrine is covered at some places; many tea and snack stalls are located alongside. At the end of this intricate path yatries (devotees) are enthralled with the Darshans of the Mother Goddess in the Holy Cave.

The Cave does not have statues or idols or pictures instead the Darshan is in the shape of three natural rock formations called the Pindies. You can visit the court of Mata Vaishno Devi round the clock throughout the year.

The Offerings

Traditional offerings are red Chunri, Saries, Cholas, Silver or Gold ornaments, Dry Fruits, Flowers etc. but no sweets; Coconuts etc. are allowed inside the Holy Cave.
